Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication [Web]

Step 1

Visit the official SAFEX website, click the profile icon in the upper right corner of the homepage, and go to [Account & Security].

Step 2

Click [Set Up] under the Google Authenticator section.

Step 3

Get the email verification code and enter it to proceed.

Step 4

Download the Google Authenticator App

• iOS users: Search for "Authenticator" in the App Store

• Android users: Search for "Google Authenticator" in the app store or browser

Step 5

Once installed, open the Google Authenticator app and either:

• Scan the QR code displayed on the SAFEX setup page, or

• Manually enter the secret key provided.

This will generate a 6-digit verification code.

⚠️ Important Reminder: Please securely back up your Google Authenticator secret key. If you lose or change your phone without backing up the key, you will not be able to rebind the authenticator, and may lose access to your account. Deleting the account in your Authenticator app without saving the key may result in login failure. Please proceed with caution.

Step 6

Enter the 6-digit verification code from the app, then click [Confirm] to complete the binding.
